Today, four more miles. I was supposed to do four "gentle pickup" runs (about 100 yards each) after that, but I didn't feel up to it. I'm battling a chest cold, and I was a little worried about pushing myself too much. I wonder if I caught the cold running in the rain/snow on Wednesday??
I'm going to bed early tonight, and maybe taking the day off from running tomorrow (a rest day, according to my schedule) will help me feel better for Saturday's run.
I've decided to run a half-marathon in April, and I need some motivation - a little accountability. What better than a public blog? So here it is - a way for me to keep track of my progress, motivate myself and maybe vent a little. I have two young children, a husband, a job, tons of laundry to do, and I haven't really worked out the time details. But sometimes you just have to plunge in. So here goes. UPDATE: I ran the half-marathon in April, and (after four months of regular running) I am hooked. I'm continuing this running blog because it really does help keep me motivated, and it's fun to think and write about running. So check back often.
